Love by the Sea

“The night is young my love,

let’s take a walk on the beach

as the sun is setting.” We

enjoy heaven’s beautiful colors

around us. “The blue of the ocean

is beginning to reflect the orange

and pink of the sunset that I see is also in

your beautiful eyes.” You smile up

at me.

I kiss each eye lid and encircle you

with my arms, and you don’t mind at all.

You reach up to meet my lips so

softly, yours so wet and sweet.

Holding hands, we begin our leisurely

walk, not knowing where this will lead.

After awhile, you move inside my arms

and have other ideas of sitting in the

sand together and focusing on each

other, not the sunset, not the ocean.

I spread my blanket on the cool sand.

Focusing on our breath as we

begin to breathe together, our eyes

are also focused on one another’s.

We feel the breeze between us,

making you shiver.

I can hear your quick intake of breath,

when we begin exploring. I cannot

stay calm much longer with you in

my arms and my heart beating so

quickly.

My feelings are coming undone with

each wave of the ocean pulling in

and rushing out again over and over.

I hear your soft sigh. I take you in my

arms, and we drown in our love by

the sounds of the rhythmic Sea.
